Final Broadcast Ratings: July 21, 2015
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse on FOX, here comes KNOCK KNOCK LIVE. The new Ryan Seacrest reality series completely bombed with its series premiere, totaling just 1.8 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. Not only is that worse than the other two stinkers on the FOX summer schedule, BOOM! and BULLSEYE, but it will only top the relocated NBC Saturday night dramas, and an encore of GOTHAM, in the weekly ratings, by the Big 4 networks. I would not be shocked if FOX pulled the series before we see August come around.
NBC, once again, dominated the Tuesday night ratings, sweeping the night in each category, posting the most watched show of the night, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, and having the second best program, in the young demographic ratings, HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT. However, all is not rosey as HGN lost more than half of its lead in audience.
CBS' ZOO was the 3rd most watched program of the night, behind NCIS. Considering the new series is sandwiched between two encores, the numbers are not all that bad.
ABC, along with FOX, looked bad on the night. At least FOX does better in the younger demos.
Expect the CW shows to drop significantly, when final ratings are published this evening. The New York City market preempted the shows for the Mets vs Nationals baseball game.
