Complete Nielsen Ratings: June 22 - 28, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #85:
The four major broadcast networks were mostly bunched up together, with no network having that "must see" TV event or program. All four nets were within a share point of each other in both the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics, with NBC getting the edge in the actual ratings. CBS dominated the masses, winning in total viewers and households.
CBS finally started rolling out its summer programming, as BIG BROTHER placed all three episodes within the top 20, plus the season premiere of UNDER THE DOME at #10. Along with solid encores, CBS placed a total of 16 shows in the top 30, including six in the top 10. All but two of its Saturday night encores, placed within the top 40 spots.
NBC swept the three demographic categories, with its two strong reality competition series, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (#1) and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR (#13), and its flood of DATELINE episodes. The newsmagazine aired 4 editions, including two on Sundays. NBC had two top 10 programs and a total of seven in the top 30.
ABC fell back to reality, now that the NBA Finals are done. It is finding success in CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD (#3) and BATTLEBOTS (#21), on Sunday nights. But, its Thursday night dramas are not doing as well, with ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB doing the best at #29, while MISTRESSES ranks 49th and ROOKIE BLUE at 44th. ABC had a total of five shows in the top 30.
FOX is still FOX, but at least it is being somewhat competitive with the other big 3 nets. The Women's World Cup was its top performer, ranking 16th, with 5.7 million viewers. MASTERCHEF was the top series, at 22nd, drawing 4.7 million viewers. After that, everything ranks below #45.
In original programming, NBC and ABC still leads the way with 13 hours each. FOX scheduled 12.5 hours, with just the Sunday 'toons in encores, and CBS had just nine hours.
