Complete Nielsen Ratings: July 20 - 27, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #94:
It was a relatively quite, normal summer week, in the TV ratings. CBS and NBC split the leadership, with CBS excelling in total viewers and households, while NBC tops the young demographic ratings. ABC drops from a first place showing last week, to a third place finish this week, while FOX continues to hold on to that distant fourth place spot.
CBS's strength is the repeatability of its regular season series. With exception of its Saturday night programs, only a friday encore of ELEMENTARY failed to make the top 40. The network had a total of five top ten shows and took 18 of the top 30 spots.
NBC, mostly filled with original programming, placed three shows in the top 10, including the season premiere of LAST COMIC STANDING, at #9. AMERICA'S GOT TALENT continues to be the most watched show of the summer and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR (#8) is a solid performer each week.
ABC did have the #2 show of the week, with the summer hit, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD, but managed just four shows in the top 30, including a repeat of AFV on Sunday night. The network has too many original series pulling in mediocre ratings, including the entire Thursday night line up.
FOX's 2014-15 continues to suck, and it just get worse each week. KNOCK KNOCK LIVE premiered to just 1.8 million viewers, placing 71st on the chart. It was the lowest rated original program, airing Monday-Friday. FOX has more shows in the bottom half, 50th or worse, than it has in the top half of the chart.
