US Box Office Results: June 19 - 21, 2015
JURASSIC WORLD holds off Pixar's INSIDE OUT, to retain the #1 spot on the chart. JURASSIC WORLD grabbed another $102 million, bringing its 10 day total to almost $400 million, and making it the #2 movie of the year, on the heals of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON.
INSIDE OUT did very well, hauling in over $91 million, making the second best opening weekend, for a Pixar movie, behind TOY STORY 4. INSIDE OUT should wind up in the op five of Pixar releases.
The second AVENGERS movie is now ranks 7th on the all time domestic grosses list, passing THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. It is just $10 million short of passing STAR WARS, but it may not have the steam to get much further.
