It took three seasons for NBC executive to realize that HANNIBAL was a complete ratings failure. Last week's episode drew just 1.7 million viewers and a low 0.5 rating in the A18-49 demographic.
Comcast looking at another big purchase target:
According to reports, Comcast is looking at a possible purchase of T-Mobile, from german owner, Deutsche Telekom. If successful, Comcast could offer a legit 4-play offer of Cable TV, Internet, Mobile and Landline Phone to customers. [LINK]
Kutcher heading to Netflix for next comedy:
Ashton Kutcher is reuniting with Danny Masterson for a new Netflix sitcom, THE RANCH. The series may bring a new release model to the service, with a 20 episode order, release in two equal batches. Look for a 2016 release date for the first 10 episodes.
Also coming to Netflix:
The streaming service is also ordering 13 episodes of the new comedy LADY DYNAMITE, starring Maria Bamford
NBA League Pass has new packages:
Instead of buying a whole season of all the NBA games, NBA League will offer fans individual team packages and purchase single games, for the 2015-16 season, for out of market games.
Japanese network, Fuji, to supply shows to Netflix:
One of the five major Japanese networks, Fuji, has a deal with Netflix to supply shows tot he service. Subtitled version of the shows will be produced and some shows will premiere on Netflix, over Fuji TV.
