With game one of the NHL Stanley Cup Championship, NBC has an easy time sweeping the night in the ratings. The game pulled relatively strong numbers, in each of the three demographic categories, despite having multiple shows pulling in more total viewers. it improved on last year's game #1 pulling in 4.8 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the A18-49 demo.

Viewership lost 1.4 million viewers, the A18-34 demo dropped 25%, the A18-49 demo was off by 31% and the A25-54 demo was down nearly 40%. FOX was a solid #2 for the night, with MASTERCHEF continuing to do well in the ratings. It was the #2 show of the night, in each of the three demo categories and was barely edged out by the hockey game, in the A25-54 demo. BULLSEYE remained relatively flat, week-to-week.
ABC just edged out CBS for #3, matching the network with the same number of encore hours. CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP was up in viewers and the A25-54 demo, but down in the other two demographic groups.
