US Box Office Results: May 29 - 31, 2015
The big budget, disaster movie, SAN ANDREAS, was the weekends to movie, collecting over $53 million in receipts. That is about $40 million more than the #2 movie, PITCH PERFECT 2. SAN ANDREAS is on track to haul in about $150 million, domestically.The weekends, other new movie, ALOHA, didn't so so well, placing 6th on the chart, with just $10 million total. The Bradley Cooper movie will be lucky to grose $30 million, before it is pulled from theaters, by the end of June.
PITCH PERFECT 2 has grossed over $147 million, in just three week's of release.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ALTRON is at $427 million, total, placing it at 10th on the all-time list. The Marvel movie is also at 1.32 billion, worldwide, placing 6th on that chart's all-time list.
