Ratings Review: HELIX (Season Two)
Not surprised HELIX was cancelled after two seasons. The series has struggled in the ratings since late in the first season. Season two numbers started low and lost another 55% of it viewership by the end of its run.
By week four, more than have the viewers that watched the season premiere, were gone. The A18-49 ratings, already low, started at a 0.3 and dropped to a 0.1 for most, if not the rest of the season.
For the season, HELIX averaged just 560,000 viewers per episode. Since the end of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, Ronald Moore has had a hard time finding success in Science Fiction.
