Ratings Review: BEING MARY JANE (Season Two)
Being one of the more successful scripted series on BET did not keep BEING MARY JANE immune from falling ratings. From season one to season two, the average dropped one million viewers and over 30% in the demo ratings.
The second season started off well, pulling in the low end ratings, that season one produced. But, at week six, the viewership dropped under two million viewers, never to see that number again. The A18-49 ratings followed the same path, ducking under a 1.0 rating. Not even Live+7 ratings could reach the numbers season one did, in Live+SD.
For the season, BEING MARY JABE averaged 1.79 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. Season three has already been ordered, for 2016.
