Preliminary Ratings: Monday 05/11/15

ABC and NBC battled it out for the top spot of the Monday night ratings, as ABC easily collected the most viewers, with 11.8 million, while NBC edged out ABC to win the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics. DANCING WITH THE STARS was the night's most watched program, with 13.3 million, while THE VOICE was tops in the demo ratings, with a 2.4 in A18-49 and a 3.3 in the A25-54.

CASTLE closed out its season, winning the 10 p.m. hour, with 8.7 million viewers and a 1.4 demo. That just edged out NCIS: LA, while NIGHT SHIFT was a close third. CASTLE will return for a 8th season, this fall, but will it stay on Monday Nights? We'll find out, later today.

FOX, a very distant 4th place, is trying to air the episodes of THE FOLLOWING, as fast as it can. Monday, two new episodes were burned, barely reaching a 1.0 demo rating, over the two hours.

The two CW Monday night series ended their season with near average results. JANE THE VIRGIN did out draw THE ORIGINALS, in total viewers
