Complete Nielsen Ratings: May 11 - 17, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #89:
ABC had another good week, the last full week of the May 2015 sweeps. It was just edged out by CBS in total viewers, but easily too the two younger demographic categories. A full slate of season finales helped push the network to the top, with 10 shows in the top 30, including three of the top five. DANCING WITH THE STARS took two of those top five spots, along with the BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS taking the third.
CBS did have the two most watched programs of the week, as NCIS and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS collected 15 million and 13.6 million viewers, respectively. In total, CBS had 14 top 30 shows, including three repeat episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY.
NBC posted another third place showing, as it staggers in to the end of the season. Despite having 18 primetime nights of NFL games, plus the Super Bowl, NBC barely held onto the A18-49 crown, for a second straight year. Its margin of victory over CBS was just 110,000 viewers. Anther week or two, and NBC may not have held on.
We'll skip how bad FOX did and look at the CW. THE FLASH performed well, rising to 62nd, on the viewership chart and cracking the top 30, in the A18-49 ratings, with a #28 posting. That out performed AGENTS OF SHIELD's season finale, in the A18-49 demographic.
