PARKS & RECS duo team for new project:
Aziz Ansari and P&R creator Mike Schure are teaming up for a new comedy project, for Netflix. The streaming service has already ordered 10 episode of the series. No word on what the comedy will be about, but could be particaly based on Ansari's life of dating and relationships. look for a 2016 release for the premiere.

Netflix has renewed the superhero series for a second season, for 2016.

HBO teams with Cummings:
HBO has ordered a comedy pilot from comedian Whitney Cummings, based on the 2005 book ARE MEN NECESSARY?, by Maureen Dowd.

GALAXY QUEST: THE SERIES:
A TV adaptation of the 199 theatrical movie GALAXY QUEST is in development, at Paramount. No word on if it would be based on the TV series, within the movie, or a continuation of the movie itself.

TV Land renews freshman comedy:
First year sitcom, YOUNGER, got the thumbs up for a second season, by TV LAND. Season two will consist of 12 episodes.

Comedy Central re-ups Amy Schumer:
INSIDE AMY SCHUMER was renewed for a fourth season by Comedy Central, just as the third season is set to premiere.

Netflix official picks up FULLER HOUSE:
The long anticipated reboot of the classic TGIF sitcom FULL HOUSE has become reality. The streaming service has ordered 13 episodes of FULLER HOUSE. The new setting will focus on the characters D.J. and Stephanie Tanner, and a friend living together, in roles similar to Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier portrayed, with plenty of kids in the mix.
