Ratings Review: PERCEPTION (Season - Spring 2015)
The TV series PERCEPTION always aired after RIZZOLI & ISLES for its three season run, and was over shadowed by the hit series. The inability for it to come into its own is what cost the series its life. Anything can draw the same ratings and after 39 episode, there was no upside to PERCEPTION.
I must admit I have never seen a single second of the series, but from the promos of the series, it looked like a cable version of THE MENTALIST. A non crime professional helping police by observing the crime scene and those individuals associated with it.
The last five episodes didn't do much in the ratings, averaging about 1.8 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. The lone L+3 rating shows a little more viewership, but that includes encore airings over those three days. So far, the cast of WILL & GRACE have yet to find a hit series since that series ended, nine years ago.
