Primetime Cable Ratings: April 5, 2015

Baseball ruled the Sunday night cable ratings as the first game of the season (Cubs vs Cardinals) collected 3.4 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The game was moved over to ESPN as the mother network was covering the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four.

Those NCAA games on ESPN didn't do so well. The early hame only attracted two million viewers, while the late game added just 20% more viewers.

THE REAL HOUSE WIVES OF ATLANTA tied the baseball game for the top A18-49 rating, but drew 750,000 less viewers.

The season premiere of MAD MEN placed 9th on the night, bringing in 2.3 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. That is identical to the 2014 season premiere.
