Final Broadcast Ratings: April 17, 2015

ABC took two of the three hours, on Friday night, to edge CBS in the ratings and sweep the night. SHARK TANK was the night's #1 program in both total viewers and in the A18-49 demographic, despite posting one of the lowest ratings of the season. The season finales of LAST MAN STANDING and CRISTELA tied NBC for second, in the demo, but tied THE AMAZING RACE for tops in viewership, for the 8pm hour.

The CW gave us three premieres on the night. Two series premieres in CEDRIC'S BARBER BATTLE and THE MESSENGERS and a season premiere for WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? It looks as if CEDRIC'S BARBER BATTLE is DOA, but THE MESSENGERS may have a chance. Don't expect the numbers to get much better, but if they can remain at this level, THE MESSENGERS may have life beyond this spring.

Two hours of THE AMAZING RACE allowed CBS to remain competitive on the night. the series maintained near season averages on the night.
