Complete Nielsen Ratings: April 20 - 26, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #93:
ABC surged to the top of the demographic ratings, thanks to a spectacular performance with the 20/20 - ABC News, interview with Bruce Jenner. The two hour, Friday night telecast was the most watched program of the week, with 17.1 million viewers, and was, by far, the top program in the A18-49 ratings, with a 5.2 score. ABC rose a full half a point in the A18-49 ratings, and viewership rose 1.3 million. It was a good start of the May Sweeps, for ABC.
Elsewhere for ABC, the network posted a total of eight shows in the top 30, but only DANCING WITH THE STARS joined the Jenner interview in the top 10. Once hot SCANDAL (#28) is now pulling a mediocre 2.3 demo rating and 7.8 million viewers.
CBS was the most watched network of the week, with decent performances from its regular line up. The network had six top shows, 14 in the top 20 and a total of 20 in the top 30. But, the A18-49 average was a little weak. The Sunday line up drug the number down, with a sub-zero average for the night.
NBC did edge FOX for third place, across the board. Only THE VOICE made the top 30, for NBC, placing 4th and 6th for the two episodes. The next highest NBC program was THE BLACKLIST at #32. NBC still has that slight edge over CBS for the season lead in the A18-49 ratings. Just 170,000 viewers, in the demo, are the difference between the two networks.
FOX, with zero top 30 programs, was non-competitive in every category. AMERICAN IDOL was the network's only to 50 entry, with BONES at #51, as the second highest ranked FOX show on the complete chart. The network also had the least viewed program of the week, with a last minute encore of SLEPPY HOLLOW, to cover the rain soaked NASCAR race, on Saturday night.
