US Box Office Results: March 27 - 29, 2015
The new FOX animated movie, HOME, was this weekend's top movie, grossing $54 million in its first three days that easily topped the adult comedy, GET HARD, by nearly $20 million. HOME is on part with recent animated movies like BIG HERO 6, DESPICABLE ME and HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2.For GET HARD, this is the best live action opening for Will Ferrell since THE OTHER GUYS ($36 million), in 2010. For Kevin Hartman this is the fifth movie, of the last six months to score over $20 million in its opening weekend.
