Series creator, Robert Kirkman, announce on twitter that the new spin-off series will be titled FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.
NBC picks up reality series:
From the Ellen DeGeneres production company, FIRST DATES will follow a couples actual first date to see if love is in the air. NBC has ordered 8 episodes of the series, which begins production in July.
NBC picks up classic sitcom for new episodes:
NBC is not parting ways with Craig T. Nelson, despite the end of PARENTHOOD. The network is resurrecting the classic ABC sitcom, COACH, with Nelson reprising his Hayden Fox character. 13 episodes have been ordered.
Details of the CRIMINAL MINDS spin-off:
Yes, CM is attempting to spin-off another series via a backdoor pilot as an episode of CRIMINAL MINDS. Gary Sinise (CSI: NY) will lead the new team, consisting of Anna Gunn (BREAKING BAD), and it has already been reported that Tyler James Williams (THE WALKING DEAD) is part of the project.
More Sling TV additions:
With the announcement, yesterday, that the OTT service was adding A&E, Sling TV is adding other A&E networks, including History, H2, Lifetime, FYI and LMN. The last two will be on the Lifestyle Extra tier, while the first 4 are being added to the basic service.
