Hulu scores major exclusive rights:
Hot of its season finale, EMPIRE will call Hulu its exclusive SVOD home. The deal will cover all past and future episodes of the series.
DIY gets Mr. T:
The DIY Network has picked up the new series... (groan)... I PITY THE TOOL, staring actor, Mr. T. The series will premiere later this year.
Animal Planet renews veteran series:
PIT BULLS & PAROLEES will live for a seventh season as Animal Planet has picked it up for another season.
Playstation Vue OTT luanches:
Starting off in just New York, Philadelphia and Chicago, Sony has launched its OTT service PlayStation Vue. Pricing starts out at $49.99, about two and a half times more expensive than Sling TV.
Playoff Hockey on USA:
NBC Sports Group is putting some NHL playoff hockey games on USA, to help place overflow games on national networks.
