Top 100 Primetime Cable: March 9 - 15, 2015

Zombies and wrestlers take the top five spots of this week's cable ratings. THE WALKING DEAD and the fan show TALKING DEAD take the top two spots, while WWE RAW take the following three. The two franchises book end the week's TV schedule, from the first hour to the last. Now, if we could just have Zombies wrestle.....

College Basketball is heating up as each conference holds its season ending tournament, just before the field of 68 is announced. Saturday's Notre Dame vs North Carolina game was the top of the week, placing 6th over all, with 3.5 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating. The late Friday night game was about 900,000 viewers behind, in the #25 spot. The Scoreboard shows, bridging the gap between games also held viewers, placing three shows in the top 50.

The GOLD RUSH special was the week's best in the reality TV genre. The Friday night staple commanded 3.3 million viewers and a solid 1.0 demo rating. That is about 150,000 more than THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA, but HOUSEWIVES posted the superior A18-49 rating, 1.4 to 1.0.
