Primetime Cable Ratings: March 9, 2015

A&E gave us the third season premiere of BATES MOTEL and the series premiere of THE RETURNED,  to less than exciting results. BATES MOTEL drew just 2.1 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating. Compared to last season's premiere, BATES is down nearly one million viewers and lost 31% of the demo.

Following BATES MOTEL was the American version of french series, THE RETURNED. As you can see below, it failed to make the top 15. The series premiere collected just 1.5 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating. That is retention of just 72%, in viewership, and 67% in the demo. Not a good showing at all.

Looking at the top of the chart, WWE RAW continues to rule Monday nights. all three hours takes the top three spots of the night. The 10 p.m. hour was the night's best rating in the A18-49 demographic, with a 1.4 rating.
