Primetime Cable Ratings: March 5, 2015

The series premiere of DIG, on USA, didn't do horrible numbers. The drama ranked 12th, with 1.8 million viewers and a 0.6 demo. That is not far off from what most of USA's veteran dramas are pulling today. Unfortunately, it is only downhill from here.

For the second night in a row, THE O'REILLY FACTOR is the most watched program on Cable TV. The viewership was near identical from Wednesday night, but the A18-49 ratings did drop from a 0.3 to a 0.2 demo rating.

The #2 program of the night was also the top sports program of Thursday, WWE SMACKDOWN. The wrestling event, on SyFy, collected 2.7 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. It was mostly flat, week-to-week, in viewership, but the A18-49 demographic did jump a tenth of a point.

VIKINGS was the night's top original scripted program, bringing in 2.4 million viewers, along with a 0.8 demo rating. It had the exact same numbers last week as it did this week.
