Primetime Cable Ratings: March 27, 2015
The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament dominates the Friday night cable ratings, with the entire night take in the top three spots on the chart. The complete TBS coverage averaged about 4.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. Add that to CBS' average on the night and the Tournament averaged over 11 million viewers and a 3.5 demo rating.The GIRL MEETS WORLD season finale pulled in the kids not watching basketball, drawing 2.3 million viewers. It was a relatively successful first season for the series, but from premiere to finale, the ratings had a very significant drop. It is now not much more than "another kids sitcom" instead of the potential hit the earlier episodes portrayed that it might become.
