Primetime Cable Ratings: March 22, 2015

The NCAA basketball tournament, on TNT, TBS and TruTV, dominated Sunday's cable chart, posting a total of seven separate games & studio shows in the top 15. During the 9 p.m. hour, the three networks combined for a total audience size of about 10 million viewers and a 3.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic. A pretty decent showing, up against THE WALKING DEAD.

THE WALKING DEAD pulled an near identical ratings as the previous weeks, coming just 20,000 viewers shy of an exact duplicate ratings. For the second to last episodes, TWD commanded 13.8 million viewers and a 7.0 demo rating. Next week, the season finale will be super-sized to 90 minutes and I could easily see a record breaking number for the series.
