Primetime Cable Ratings: March 1, 2015

Now, with ll the hyped up, huge media, TV specials out of the way, THE WALKING DEAD rebounded back to normal ratings, commanding a 7.2 rating in the A18-49 demographic, along with a solid 14.4 million viewers. Week-to-week, TWD is up one million viewers and 9% in the demo. Compared to the mid-season opener, it now has held onto 92% of viewers and 94% of the demo.

Also up was THE REAL HOUSE WIVES, growing 31% in viewers and 42% in the A18-49 demo, over the last original episodes, on February 15th. Most fans/viewers finally got a chance to catch up with the stories, after a month long run of big TV specials, on broadcast TV.

The premiere of ALL-STAR ACADEMY, on the Food Network, had a solid start, getting 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 demo. Considering the competitiveness of Sunday nights, a cooking show getting into the top 15, is a strong start.
