Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 03/04/15

The original series may be dead, but it looks like CSI franchise will live on. The series premiere of CSI: CYBER had a good showing on Wednesday night, drawing 10.3 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. It held onto 98% of total viewers and 90% of the demo, from its CRIMINAL MINDS lead in. That is the most viewers the 10 p.m. slot has hauled in all season, and is the best A18-49 rating, by a series, since the series premiere of STALKER.

EMPIRE continues to grow and dominate. The series ran over the 14 million viewer mark, for the first time in series history and grew another 6% in the demo. With the season finale just a few weeks away, it would not surprise me if EMPIRE draws over 20 million and a 6.5+ in the demo, for that last episode.

ABC was a consistent #3 network on the night, with all four comedies doing good numbers in the ratings. THE MIDDLE and BLACK-ISH were up, week-to-week, while MODERN FAMILY and THE GOLDBERGS were flat.

You know NBC's regular schedule is bad when a clips episode of THE VOICE pulls one of the better A18-49 ratings for the season, on a Wednesday night.

Preliminary L+SD Network Averages:
ABC - 7.2 million viewers, 2.2 rating in A18-49

FOX - 11.5 million viewers, 3.9 rating in A18-49
