CBS releases summer schedule:
CBS releases the premiere dates for its 2015 summer TV season, which includes a move for one drama and the addition of another.
- BIG BROTHER - Returns on Wednesday, June 24th and will air on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights.
- EXTANT - Returns to Wednesday nights, at 10 p.m., starting on July 1st.
- UNDER THE DOME - Moving to Thursday nights, at 10 p.m. It will have a two hour premiere on June 25th.
- ZOO - The new series will premiere on Tuesday, June 30th, between encores of NCIS and NCIS, NEW ORLEANS.
Companion series for A.D.: THE BIBLE CONTINUES:
NBC will launch a companion talk show series, BEYOND A.D., that will compliment the sequel series to THE BIBLE. It is to A.D.: THE BIBLE CONTINUES what TALKING DEAD is to THE WALKING DEAD. The series will be available via streaming, starting April 12th.
JESSIE spin-off series for Disney:
The popular kids sitcom JESSIE will spin-off the characters Emma, Ravi and Zuri into their own series. The untitled series will begin production this spring.
Netflix to reboot two kids series:
INSPECTOR GADGET and DANGER MOUSE are the latest classic series to get the reboot treatment, this time from Netflix. the GADGET remake has already been produced and has been aired in Europe. DANGER MOUSE will have 26 new episodes, ready for spring, 2016.
Noggin SVOD service from Nickelodeon:
Nickelodeon is ramping up for the launch of a new streaming video service for kids, with the Noggin branding. The commercial free service will be just $5.99 per month and will launch on March 5th. [LINK]
