VIKINIGS soar in Live+3 ratings:
The third season premiere of VIKINGS grew 1.8 million viewers and 81% in the A18-49 demographic, from Live+SD ratings to Live+3 Day ratings. This ranks as the best season premiere for a History channel series.
TBS orders comedy with Jason Jones:
The untitled comedy series from Jason Jones and Samantha Bee has been given a 10 episode order from TBS. Jones is leaving the DAILY SHOW for the series. The series will focus around the couple and their kids as they take a trip to Florida. The comedy will launch this fall.
FX casts BASTARD EXECUTIONER:
The upcoming drama had added Katey Segal (SONS OF ANARCHY) and Stephen Moyer (TRUE BLOOD) to the cast. The series will premiere on FX, this fall.
PEE-WEE'S BIG HOLIDAY movie:
Netflix will be the home of the new Pee-Wee Herman movie, PEE-WEE'S BIG HOLIDAY. The film will be produced by Herman and Judd Apatow. Production begins this spring.
BLUNT TALK casts Begley Jr and Lawrence:
The Starz comedy, BLUNT TALK, starring Patric Stewart, has added Ed Begley Jr. and Sharon Lawrence to the cast of recurring characters. The series is slated for a summer premiere.
DUCK TALES returs:
Disney XD is resurrecting the classic animated series, DUCK TALES, scheduled to begin in 2017. DUCK TALES features Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews, Huey, Louie & Dewey.
AHS casts pop star for season five:
Lady Gaga has been confirmed as a cast member for season five of AMERICAN HORROR STORY. Nothing confirmed on season five, but it could have the subtitle AHS: HOTEL.
