Preliminary Ratings: Monday 02/16/15
For the first time since the end of the November sweeps, GOTHAM rose in the ratings, above the previous week's numbers. The DC Comics drama push upward to a 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49, plus a total of 6.5 million viewers. That is up 900,000 viewers and 17% in the demo. The rise at 8 p.m. did carry over to 9 p.m. as SLEEPY HOLLOW was up 600,000 viewers and 17% in the demo.
ABC had an easy time winning the night, but THE BACHELOR did see its first week-to-week lost in the ratings, since episode two. It dropped 9% in the demo, after four consecutive weeks besting the previous week. It was still enough to be the top rated program of the night and the second most watched. CASTLE was tops at 10 p.m., with the absence of NCIS: LA, on the night.
CBS preempted its two dramas for a special Grammy Salute to Stevie Wonder. The 7.5 million viewers and 1.4 demo rating were not horrible, but well below what new episodes of SCORPION and NCIS: LA would have brought in.
