Final Broadcast Ratings: February 10, 2015
FRESH OFF THE BOAT settled into its regular night, airing back-to-back episodes, producing relatively good numbers for the time slot. Between the two episodes, BOAT averaged 6.0 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the A18-49 demographic. Compared to last week's SHARK TANK, that is a loss of one tenth of a point, in the demo, and 1.1 million viewers. But, when compared to the series premieres of SELFI and MANHATTAN LOVE STORY, back in early October, BOAT was up a million more viewers and the A18-49 demo improved 13 percent. The series also finished second in the hour. Not a bad beginning for the sitcom.
The rest of the ABC line up tanked in the night, but with the weak competition on FOX and NBC, the network still managed to place second on the night. AGENT CARTER couldn't top THE FLASH in the demo and FOREVER was a distant third at 10 p.m.
CBS was the easy victor on the night, sweeping in both reported categories. NCIS was even, in total viewers, with last week's total, but matched its best rating of the season, in the A18-49 demo, with a 2.9 mark. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was down 300k, in viewers, but rose a tenth in the demo, compared to last week. PERSON OF INTEREST was also up, winning the 10 p.m. hour.
FOX and NBC had to work hard to try and fend off the CW. FOX was successful, posting a 1.3 average in the demo ratings, but NBC lost to The CW with a 1.1 demo number. NBC was 5th in the 8 p.m. hour and edged The CW in the 9 p.m. hour. PARKS & REC posted a season low with the two episodes.
