Final Broadcast Ratings: February 1, 2015

Once again, the Super Bowl posted a record for the most viewers, ever, for a TV program. A grand total of 114.4 million people tuned into watch the Patriots win their fourth Super Bowl, in the last 13 years. That is about two million more than last year's record game. The A18-49 rating did slip two tenths of a ratings point, or 0.5 percent, from last year's game.

The game blew-up on social media, with over a quarter of a million tweets and two million impressions of those tweets.

THE BLACKLIST was given the coveted post-game airing, grabbing 25.7 million viewers and an 8.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic. That is down 600,000 viewers and 26%, from what NEW GIRL got, in the first half hour, after the 2014 Super Bowl. But it is up five million viewers, from the NEW GIRL/BROOKLYN NINE-NINE average, but sill below its average of a 9.1 rating, in the demo. The last time NBC had the Super Bowl, THE VOICE collected over 37 million viewers.
