Ratings Review: WHITE COLLAR (Season Six)
The final season of WHITE COLLAR didn't exactly go out with a bang, but it did pull its biggest audience of the season, with the least episode of the series.
Like so many USA dramas, WHITE COLOR did very well, in the beginning, but as the season when on, the ratings began to slide. Starting out with well over five million viewers an episodes, in 2009, viewership dropped below two million be the end of the sixth and last season. DVR penetration is responsible for the erosion, but I have to assume the lack of DVR numbers may indicate few viewers stuck with the series, even in delayed viewing.
for the short, six episode season, WHITE COLLAR averaged just 1.55 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. USA has a tricky road ahead as most of its former hits are beginning to die off, with little to replace them.
