Primetime Cable Ratings: January 28, 2015

On a Wednesday night dominated by THE BIG BANG THEORY reruns, AMERICAN PICKERS was the night's top cable original program. The History series drew three million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, placing third on the night. It was the only cable series in the top five.

Two HOUSE HUNTER episodes represents half the cable original series on the night's list. Placing 7th and 14th, the two episodes averaged 2.3 million viewers, during the 1 p.m. hour. HGTV is slowly growing to be on of the top 10 to 15 cable networks on TV, with shows viewers enjoy watching live.

Not making the top 15 was the third season premiere of the drama THE AMERICANS, on FX. The opening episode collected 1.9 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the A18-49 demo. that is on par with last year's season two premiere, in late February.
