Primetime Cable Ratings: January 21, 2015

The season finale of AMERICAN HORROR STORY did perk up in Wednesday ratings, grabbing 3.3 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in the A18-49 demographic. That was an increase of a little more than 300,000 viewers and a tenth of a point in the demo ratings. But it is almost half the viewers and demo rating of the season premiere, back in October.

AMERICAN PICKERS topped DUCK DYNASTY as the top reality series of the night, grabbing 2.8 million viewers, to DD's 2.6 million. But DD did have the better demo numbers, 0.9 to 0.5.

A majority of the chart is consumed by reruns, with a total of 11 spots taken by broadcast encores. THE BIG BANG THEORY alone took six spots.
