Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 01/25/15

It was a quiet, but near repeat free Sunday night and NBC steals an easy nightly win, thanks to the MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT. The annual beauty contest brought in the night's to number in the A18-49 demographic, grabbing a 2.0 rating, along with 7.6 million total viewers. That is twice the number the last MIS UNIVERSE PAGEANT drew, back in November of 2013, on a Saturday night. looking back at the 2012 edition, the numbers are up about 10% in the demo and 1.5 million in total viewership.

CBS was the most watched network, grabbing the four most watched programs of the night. Giving MADAM SECRETARY and THE GOOD WIFE the night off, a special UNDERCOVER BOSS filled in decently, with 8.8 million viewers and a 1.5 demo rating. A double-shot of CSI pushed in near normal numbers for two hours.

ABC did win the 7 p.m. hour, with a great showing by AFV. It hauled in the second best A18-49 rating, behind MISS UNIVERSE, and nearly doubled the average of the rest of the night, for ABC. After 25 years, AFV still has the power to draw viewers.

FOX was so-so in the ratings, drawing below average numbers for THE SIMPSONS, BROOKLYN NINIE-NINE and BOB'S BURGERS. But, FAMILY GUY did perk up to a level it is more accustomed to, leading out of a bottom of the our comedy. FOX was still fourth in both viewers and demo.

CW - 0.0 million viewers, 0.0 rating in A18-49
