Ratings Review: GETTING ON (Season Two)

I know that HBO's does not necessarily use the Nielsen ratings to determine which series they keep and which they cancel, but there has to be some sort of minimum standard on which to keep ANY series. GETTING ON pulled no better than 500,000 viewers per episode, in season one. Things got worse in season two.

Looking at the chart below, really says it all. no better than 250,000 viewers per episode. The A18-49 ratings is rounded UP, to the nearest tenth of a point, so the number of young viewers watching the series under 100k. This is one of the few HBO series that makes a Showtime series ratings look good. I do not see how HBO can put any resources into a series with this small of a return.
