Primetime Cable Ratings: December 10, 2014

A deflated AMERICAN HORROR STORY was able to fend off DUCK DYNASTY as the top cable program of Wednesday night. The anthology drama posted 3.1 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 200k in total viewers and one tenth of a point in the demo. The episode becomes the new season low point of the season, the title the previous week's episode had.

The DUCK DYNASTY christmas episode pushed the ratings up by more than a half million viewers and 13% in the demo. It is still far away from its former glory days, but every little bit of added ratings, helps.

Finishing int he #14 spot was SOUTH PARK, drawing 1.7 million viewers. It was the only animated cable original program on the night's chart.
