Preliminary Ratings: Friday 12/26/14

In a sea of reruns, NBC rose above the other networks, in Friday night's ratings. The combo of CAUGHT ON CAMER and a two hour DATELINE, edged out ABC in the A18-49 ratings, by a tenth of a ratings point. NBC was also the most watched network, lead by DATELINE's 5.6 million viewers.

20/20, on ABC, was the nights top program in the A18-49 ratings, grabbing a 1.2 rating. But, ABC's comedies weight down the average, placing ABC second on the night.

CBS' special NOW THAT'S FUNNY! did little in the ratings. It lost to encores of the ABC comedies, but edged encore animates shows on FOX, during the 8 p.m. hour.

ABC - 4.8 million viewers, 1.0 rating in A18-49

CBS - 4.1 million viewers, 0.6 rating in A18-49

CW - 1.2 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49

FOX - 1.5 million viewers, 0.5 rating in A18-49

NBC - 5.4 million viewers, 1.0 rating in A18-49
