Final Broadcast Ratings: December 11, 2014

FOX had the one finale of the night, as the limited series GRACEPOINT ended its 2014-15 season. The british remake collected just 4.01 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up by more than 10% from last week, in total viewers. The series never caught on and became nothing more than a time filler, until mid-season.

Looking really bad on Thursday night, was ABC. The network tied the CW for last place in the A18-49 ratings, and THE TASTE lost to THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Thursday night is not even the CW's strongest night, and ABC has trouble beating the network?? THE TASTE needs to be axed, now, and filled with encore programming Even repeats of GREY'S ANATOMY cane do better than this!

With ABC tanking the night, NBC was able to secure 3rd place. Something its has not done in a long time, with regular programming. Nothing on the network stood out, but all three series did see gains over their last outing, three week's earlier.

CBS had an easy time winning the night, doubling up #2 FOX in total viewers and in the A18-49 ratings. But, the numbers for THE BIG BANG THEORY have to be a little concerning. Just 15.5 million viewers and a 3.9 demo ratings were recorded. That is a season low in the A18-49 demographic and the second lowest total viewers count. Being in repeats the two previous week's, perhaps viewers didn't expect a new episode this week?
