Primetime Cable Ratings: November 4, 2014

On election night, more viewers tuned into FOX News Channel than any other network, including the broadcast networks. Separated by each hour, FOX News took the top three spots of Tuesday's chart, averaging 6.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is four million more viewers than the best hour of CNN's coverage, and MSNBC is not even on the chart.

SONS OF ANARCHY did take a hit with the election coverage, posting its lowest numbers of the season, getting just a 1.9 demo rating with 3.9 million viewers. SOA was also the only original scripted cable series on the night's chart.

19 KIDS AND COUNTING was the nights top reality series, posting two episodes on the chart. The 9 p.m. episode collected 3.3 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating, while the 10 p.m. special episode drew 2.1 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating.
