Primetime Cable Ratings: November 16, 2014

AMC continues to rule on Sunday nights as its THE WALKING DEAD programming tops the charts. The network takes three of the top eight spots, including TALKING DEAD at #2, with 5.4 million viewers and a 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49. In comparison, TALKING DEAD beat every non-NFL program, in the A18-49 demographic, on the broadcast networks, with exception of THE SIMPSONS, which did have a great football lead in.

THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA stayed strong in week two. The ratings only dropped 200k in total viewers and just 11% in the demo ratings. It is definitely a strong alternate programming to THE WALKING DEAD audience.

For the second week in a row, Hallmark places all three movies of the night, in the top 15. The original movie, ANGELS & ORNAMENTS, placed 4th on the night, grabbing over 3.3 million viewers.

The Food Network makes a rare appearance on the chart, getting the #15 spot for the HOLIDAY BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP. It tied with the 8 p.m. episode of ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER, with just under 1.8 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating.
