Preliminary Ratings: Monday 11/24/14

It was a crazy TV Monday night, for the broadcast networks. With two Monday Night Football games, on cable, CBS and NBC had affiliates covering the games in their local markets and not airing the network programs. Each of the networks were in and out of programming to cover the Furguson protests, with some return of coverage joining programs in progress.

ABC could be the network to sweep both categories, once all the smoke clears. DANCING WITH THE STARS is the most watched program of the night, getting close to fifteen million viewers.

CBS was preempted in NYC and Buffalo, for the relocated Bills game against the Jets. The game started at 7 p.m., so the game could have concluded around 10 to 10:30, to join the regular CBS schedule.

NBC had Baltimore and New Orleans switch to the regularly scheduled MNF game, so the preliminary numbers for both programs should drop, but it will be a matter of how much.
