  • Comic book character coming to TV series

FCC may include online services as "Cable Providers":
The federal Communications Commission may soon define online services, like an Aereo, as MVPD, multichannel video program distributors, or better know as cable providers. This would allow more service the voice to negotiate with cabe and broadcast networks. Currently, networks do not have to negotiate or sale to any service that is not an MVPD. [LINK]



Hulu picks up Reitman comedy:
The streaming TV service has picked up a 10 episode season for the Jason Reitman comedy CASUAL. The series is about a bachelor and his newly divorced sister and her teenager, living under the same roof.



Netflix orders series base on comic book character:
A new live action series based on the 'richest kid in the world,' RICHIE RICH. The series will premiere sometime in 2015 and will consist of 21 episodes for the first season.



AMC gets a NIGHT MANAGER:
The home of THE WALKING DEAD, AMC, has landed the limited series NIGHT MANAGER, starring Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston. The hot property will only produce 6 to 8 episodes. No premiere date was released



More rebooting old titles:
Jerry Bruckheimer is developing a TV version of the 1980's film, AMERICAN GIGOLO. Bruckheimer was a producer of the original film. The project will be in conjunction with Paramount TV.



Kyra Sedwick comedy heading to HBO:
An untitled, single camera comedy, starring and produced by Kyra Sedwick, will hit HBO in 2015. The series will be a coming of age story of a nun who leaves the church to be come an ordinary woman.
