Ratings Review: TOP CHEF DUELS (Season One)
Bravo created another series based off the TOP CHEF franchise, this time, pitting the celebrity chefs, head to head. The none winners of the individual duels would then compete for the championship, in the season finale.
The ratings were nothing great. Averaging under 800,000 viewers per episode. The A18-49 ratings were usually a 0.3 ratings, not impressing anyone. The series seems to be more of an afterthought, thn appointment TV.
Give the minimal interest in the series created, it may make it hard for Bravo to renew it for a second season. But, the TOP CHEF brand is starting to get old, so it could be an all or nothing play for TOP CHEF. If the original stays, then the spin-off will stay.
