Primetime Cable Ratings: October 6, 2014

Monday night football had an easy time topping the Monday night cable chart. The game, featuring Washington vs Seattle, commanded 13.12 million viewers and a 4.8 rating in Adults 18-49. The game was the #1 program of the night, including broadcast TV, in the A18-49 demographic, topping THE VOICE and THE BIG BANG THEORY.

Game three of the NLDS, with the Cardinals and Dodgers, was dwarfed by the football game, grabbing just under three million viewers. It is the lowest rated primetime game, so far this postseason.

VH1 and HGTV pushed two programs each into the top 15. TI & TINY averaged 1.6 million viewers for VH1, while the HOUSE HUNTERS franchise kept 1.4 million viewers for HGTV, during the 10 p.m. hour.
