Primetime Cable Ratings: October 17, 2014
With baseball playoffs complete on cable TV, Discovery's GOLD RUSH moves up to take the Friday night chart. The reality series collected 3.6 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. It was the only series with a demo rating above a 1.0 and also the only show with over three million viewers. Companion series THE DIRT placed 6th on the night.After WWE SMACKDOWN, in 2nd place, Disney programming round out the top five, taking spots three, four and five. The three programs average two million viewers.
