Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 09/30/14

ABC had the night's only two premieres, with the two new comedies SELFIE and MANHATTAN LOVE STORY. Neither sitcom did well in the ratings, and both are now the frontrunners, along with UTOPIA, as to be the first cancellations of the season.

SELFIE drew under five million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49, while MANHATTAN LOVE STORY dropped 12% of it's lead in and a tenth of a point in the demographic ratings. Together, ABC was a distant 3rd in the 8:00 p.m. hour. Good thing FOX still has UTOPIA to make ABC not look so bad.

Let's have a look at the week-to-week gains/losses from last Tuesday's premieres.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. - down 1.5 million viewers and -19% in the demo ratings.
FOREVER - down 1.3 million viewers and -28% in the demo ratings.

NCIS - up 400,00 viewers and -10% in the A18-49 demographic.
NCIS: NO - down 800,000 viewers and -8% in the A18-49 demographic.
PERSON OF INTEREST - up 200,000 viewers and +6% in the A18-49 demographic.

THE VOICE - down 300k in viewership and off by one tenth of a point in the demo ratings.
CHICAGO FIRE - down just 100k in viewership and off by two tenths of a point in the demo ratings.

ABC - 4.9 million viewers, 1.5 rating in A18-49

CBS - 15.3 million viewers, 2.2 rating in A18-49

CW - 1.0 million viewers, 0.4 rating in A18-49

FOX - 2.2 million viewers, 1.0 rating in A18-49

NBC - 12.0 million viewers, 3.5 rating in A18-49
