When SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL needs a boost in the ratings, nothing is better than a Peyton Manning game. SNF commanded 23.8 million viewers and an 8.2 demo rating, as the future hall of fame QB broke the all time Passing TD record. It is the best numbers of SNF in a month, when Dallas and New Orleans collected an 8.7 demo rating.FOX was an esy second place for the night, with a strong NFL game overrun and THE OT. The surprise numbers for the network come from FAMILY GUY which did not build upon BROOKLYN NINE-NINE's A18-49 rating. Are viewers starting to become disinterest in the animated series?
CBS has an solid and consistent night, grabbing their usual numbers for a non-NFL doubleheader Sunday.
ABC's great start of the season is falling back to reality. ONCE UPON A TIME is slowly falling to last year's average and RESURRECTION and REVENGE are looking like mistake renewals. Neither series could do better than CBS, and are still falling in the ratings.
