CW Weekly Ratings: October 13 - 17, 2014

Another series premiere, another good showing for the CW. JANE THE VIRGIN posted one of the better ratings for the time slot, since early 2012. The series opener collected 1.6 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. I did drop in the A18-49 ratings, from its lead in, but grew total viewers by over 20%.

Week two of THE FLASH held up extremely well, growing in viewers and holding 100% of the A18-49 demographic, from the previous week. SUPERNAURAL's numbers don't look so hot, next to THE FLASH, despite being the #2 show on the network. I wonder if the CW would get a big bang for its buck, pairing the two superhero series on the same night, and let SUPERNATURAL work with THE 100 on the other?

REIGN has perked up on Thursday nights, posting its best viewership total of the season. It is up nearly 27% from the season premiere, but the A18-49 rating has remained flat.

For the week, the CW averaged 1.96 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic. THE 100 returns on October 22, the last fall program to premiere.
