US Box Office Results: Aug 29 - Sept 1, 2014

The last day of the summer movie season saw the season's #1 movie end as the last #1 movie of the summer. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY collected another $22 million, bringing it's summer total to over $280 million. This is the fourth weekend the movie has been the #1 movie, out of the five weeks it has been out.

The only new movie in the top 5 is AS ABOVE, SO BELOW, at the #5 spot. It edged out the other new movie NOWHERE MAN by $100k.

2. $15.7 million - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)
3. $11.6 million - If I Stay
4. $10.6 million - Let's Be Cops
5. $10.3 million - As Above/So Below
